Colleen Hoover is the brains behind the brawn. She is a NYT Bestselling author and the brain child behind The Bookworm Box. She founded The Bookworm Box in 2015 with her family as a way to give back to the humans. Colleen is responsible for telling everyone around here what to do, but rarely tells anyone what to do. She pours her heart into The Bookworm Box, her kids, her writing and her Diet Pepsi addiction. She hates sunshine but loves the ocean. She loves collecting scary things, but hates scary movies. She writes emotional books but has no emotions. She's afraid of extra-terrestrials but doesn't believe in ghosts. At best, Colleen is consistently contradicting.

When you come into the store, you will most likely meet Chele or you won’t because she will be somewhere cleaning.  Chele runs the store, she organizes, cleans, labels, packs and everything else you could possibly imagine that goes into a bookstore + 1000.  She is so dedicated to the store she once even said: ‘I feel horrible when I take a day off because I want to be here.’ Chele has an Associate of Science degree and has always dreamed of running a library. Chele is very, very superstitious and her favorite number is 13.  If you ever see her having a conversation with no one, don’t worry, that is her pet ghost that follows her around.  Chele said this is all we could say about her.

Shanna is the one in the picture with the long blonde hair, even though it’s currently pink.  Her daughter, Gabbie, is with her in the picture.  Gabbie looks mad because her awful mean mommy made her wear something pretty for the picture and Gabbie just wanted no part of it.  When you email The Bookworm Box, Shanna is the one that responds to your email. She is responsible for all things The Bookworm Box, including the boxes, the bookstore, and all the 32.49 ka-jillion things that go into making dreams a reality.  She is the epitome of a Jill of all trades.  Shanna has worked in many different worlds, including software, finance, non-profit and even managing teams all over the globe.  Shanna decided she was ready for something different.  She wanted to do something ‘worth doing’ and joined The Bookworm Box family. So when something goes wrong, be sure and let her have it! She likes nice emails too, but the mean ones make her happiest. You could also just blame Colleen…

Amy is our not so local (she lives in Colorado and teleports into work every day) subscription guru. Although she might look presentable here, she spends most her days in pajama pants and a purple Bookworm Box t-shirt working tirelessly behind the scenes to bring you epic boxes each month from amazing authors. The loves of her life include her daughter Bailey, reading and her numerous fur babies. She’s all about those weenies…dogs that is. She is the queen of swag and if you don’t believe us you should see the walls in her office. She is the sweetest person, and you will not meet a kinder soul, fellow book lover and hoarder of all things book related. Oh, and she has a slight obsession with gnomes. If she is ever missing, you will surely find her at the nearest Home Goods or T.J.Maxx buying every gnome is sight.
